Reddick Apartments and Offices: 7 Rental Apartments and 4 Rental Offices on 1 Acre Corner of Enchanted Forest Road and Lovers Lane in Eastsound

OPAL completed construction of our first low-rent, year-round lease apartments and adjoining office space in 2004. The mixed-use development consists of four buildings; two reflect historic buildings which once stood on the property and the design preserves an old pear orchard and includes a community garden. Rental apartments range in size from 400 to 700 sq. ft.

“A number of “green” elements were incorporated in the Reddick project. Rainwater runoff from the metal roofs is captured for flushing toilets. Marmoleum, a linseed-oil-based product, was used for flooring instead of more-toxic vinyl. Cabinets are mostly plywood instead of particleboard, which is made with formaldehyde.” —Gabriel Olmsted, project manager, OPAL CLT
